Simple and beautiful
I got this lamp as a gift and I am very happy with it. I use it on my desktop and it provides adequate lighting when on, and a beautiful view when off, during the daytime.

Beautifully designed lamp
I like this design very much. It is simple but elegant. I am using it as a piano light--although it is not ideal for this purpose because the light does not spread across both pages. I also consider it a piece of art and am willing to compromise the light value for the esthetics.

"The 'arc touch lamp': Objet d'Art"
In my newly modernized kitchen with its burgundy laminate and stainless steel and black granite, this piece shines as a work of art. Care must be taken to place the lamp within the proper contemporary context, though, having said that, I can also imagine it in older homes with dark wood.

Better than Described
This lamp has got it all: great looks, focused lighting, and it's easy to turn off and on. It looks great on a desk but is so easy to transport around the house that you can literally take it with you to wherever you want to set up a reading spot. I love this lamp, and am ordering another.
