Just OK...
I ordered three of these (as gifts) due to the reviews and because they looked so nice on the site. I think the cake plate is just OK. While the spin feature is nice (and it can be used as more than a cake plate) it is a little cheapy. I thought it had a bit of "silver" swirl in it but it doesn't it's just red and glass. The red is not a deep red...it is a bit more "orangey" and it just doesn't feel substantial for $38.00 each...it's lightweight. On a scale of 1-10 I would give this cake plate a 5.5. It is made in Tawian which might explain it. If the plate were closer to $20.00 I would think I made a good purchase but not for $38.00 plus $14.00 for shipping!
