Eye candy for sure! It will work for eating off of. The first time I put my plate on it to ck for size it scratched the tray a lot and it was a tight fit. I purchased 4 hoping to use them when the game is on. Instead I will serve soft starters that require no utensils. Not functional but gorgeous! I wish they could be coated in something scratch resistant.

note the size of this tray - it's smaller than "tv tray" size so I wouldn't recommend it with the stand. nice looking but scratches easily.
