Cool illumination. This modern metal floor lamp provides a slender shaft of light that reaches even the gloomiest corners. Direct light right where it's needed for reading, conversation or background lighting. You can also turn the light to the ceiling for an ambient effect. Uses two long-life, 8-watt bulbs, included. The switch is located on the pole, close to the arm. Additional measurements: The shade is 14" long and is 54" off the ground. Base is 8.5" dia.

We could not seem to find a floor lamp that was both functional, simple & unique -- until we saw this one! It's all 3 in one ! There's no glaring light, yet enough of it. Lights up corners & over the computer. We plan to order 1 or 2 more. If you don't want a floor lamp that takes all the attention in a room, this is great!

Greatest reading Lamp!
First used this lamp in a high end hotel. Ordered immediately when i saw Chia'sso catalog. Have two in our master bedroom (and have given as gift). Takes up no space, frees up nightstand, can direct light to allow use while other sleeps. I want one by my reading chair...and ordering several for our vacation home. Absolutely a great find! Disappears with it's sleek design, does not conflict with my very formal bedroom decor.

Nice style
This item arrived well packed and exactly as described. I always worry about floor lamps remaining sturdy (not wobbly) over time and will have to see about this one. However, at this price it is such a bargain if it does eventually get wobbly. Great value.
