Great concept; but delicate
I love the concept of these S&P shakers, however, we experienced a couple of problems. 1. Our pepper was too fine and stuck to the top of the shaker, obscuring the view of the internal works. 2. They were extremely delicate and both broke within 5 months by simply being knocked over. I do have two pre-teens, so if you have no children, I am sure they would last longer. ;)

one of a kind!
I had bought a "too contemporary" salt n pepper unit from chiasso that I absolutely loved. My husband has more of a traditional taste, however, and held it hostage until I bought him a more traditional set. THIS SET WAS THE ANSWER! Although more contemporary than he would like, he was obliged, and so I got MY salt n pepper unit returned to me. NO JOKE! I felt like I was in a sitcom! ANYways, this see-thru set is handy, since you never have to guess which is salt and which is pepper. The only con is that it is glass, so you are gonna have to wipe the fingerprints off before guests arrive, but boohoo, right? ha. LOVE this set!

LOVE this cool novelty item!
So very unique is this cute pair! A conversation piece of course, but so much more. They are quite ample in size as well First pair arrived broken due to poor packing, as the outer glass is delicate, but Chiasso quickly sent a replacement with no problem.
